DR. JACQUELINE SMOAK
Practice Owner
-Certified in Peaceful Euthanasia
Dr. Smoak is a local girl who grew up in Cottonwood and graduated from Red Bluff High School. After graduation, she completed an EMT course, became an associate instructor, and served in the US Air Force as a medic. After eight years and two deployments, Technical Sergeant Smoak left the service and human medicine to pursue veterinary medicine. She attended the University of California-Davis, graduating with a B.S. in Animal Biology, and went on to graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.
Dr. Smoak loved the diversity of veterinary medicine and her hometown and jumped at the chance to serve the pets in her community by joining Antelope Veterinary Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian.
Dr. Smoak has since taken over practice ownership of Antelope Veterinary Clinic and continues to serve the pets in our community.
In her free time, Dr. Smoak enjoys traveling, trying new foods, adventuring, and reading.
DR. SANDY FLOURNOY
Veterinarian
As a 1985 Graduate of the University of California, Dr. Flournoy knew from childhood she wanted to be a veterinarian. With a resolute determination, she went after her dream and worked her way through vet school milking cows early in the morning before 7 a.m. classes. After over 30 years of working in the field, she still lights up over interesting cases and connects on a deep level with her patients. Known as a uniquely qualified diagnostician, Dr. Flournoy enjoys patients coming to see her from all over the West Coast – to our little town. We are grateful for her commitment to her clients and our community!
With her well-deserved free time, Dr. Flournoy enjoys ranching, fleece work, cooking for large groups, and quiet reading. Dr. Flournoy’s self-reliance keeps her busy as there is always something to do.
